LOL! Guess what...

Bc Vultie doesn't have the oryginal snow map, I decided to remake current aeven by changing and improving some graphics. It tooks my whole day. Those shadows twist with client so I have to reduce their amount, sadly. And sadly, EO is down, again. I was thinking 'omg, after few hours of using this bot, turning it off may crash EO again'. Sadly, in 30 minutes it happened. Dunno if it was me or not. New policy doesn't give a chance to have snow Aeven before Christmas. A wasted day XD.

Quicky Christmas

... reboot just after my and blo leaving. TY all for taking part an amazing christmas this year, 5m2 of snow, one tree and thousands of hats. The longest christmas ever, they took like 12 hours. Vult-r amazes me with his generosity.

Endless Online crashes at least once a day

Yay, Abus and Blo probably found a way to crash the server. After two years of seeking deeply and giving Arnie solutions how to fix bugs, we found a milestone that is going to end EO, at least, shut it down for couple of months!

It is a sort of frustration that rised. How many times we may beg for some small changes that tooks like hour of Vult-r's life? We were kind.

Few more reboots and Vult-r is going to pm Blo with question 'you gonna say what u are doing or I'm shutting it down forever'. And it will be not the first time when such sentence occures.

Fuck it. Arnie is not going to add anything in next few months. Snow is not going to cover Aeven, and Arvid is not going to receive pm from Vultie. The game is dead and the only guy resposible for such state is Arnoud van der Horst.

Bye bye Endless Online! Sorry for your creator, rest in peace.

zaczyna mnie to irytować

Main jest ciągle freeze do tego Rena wyłączyła serwer czyżby jakies prace techniczne? No nic

Akceptuję to.

Aengie & Aenoud

Wertując strony można zgłębić się bardziej w tematykę związaną z grą Dark Ages.

"There is a newer free game in similar form called Eternal Online I believe that was started by Aenoud and Aengie. Some of the first testers for legends. Its ok I guess but I moved away from the Online gaming field for a while. Only to realize now that its in my blood."

Jak powstało EO - ujawniona tajemnica

Anthony Pro - członek najstarszego Dark Ages forum od 2002 roku.

For anyone on a little history behind Endless Online

The programmer and creator of Endless Online is an old SGDA/MYDA player named Aenoud, who is also a very oldddd friend of mine. Most of his original staff members are also original players of the games too. I cannot remember what it was called though (There was Temuair, and Oph.. something) -- he mainly played Legends a majority of the time. When some of the players from the much more populated USDA (as it used to be called) and SGDA started to finally migrate to our small 90-150 player community, a few of the more clever ones brought along packeting techniques with them. The staff behind MYDA was extremely negligent and incompetent, and made absolutely zero attempt to stop any of the abuse (such as packeting 20 assails for example, leveling new characters to 99 by spamming religion masses, etc)

The abuse started was a slow flame that ignited, and led to the creation of a program (originating from SGDA) that allowed packets to be sent via hotkeys for instantaneous features, such as infinite Glioca Dion. The game was obviously and immediately ruined, and the server became extremely unstable to the point it became unplayable.

Aenoud was so in love with the game, he began work on an extremely alpha version of what is "Endless Online" today, it simply featured the world's nurrztiest combat system, and you chose a static image of an aisling wearing random armor that you clicked around on a map that was a screenshot of an empty Dark Ages map. That small nurrzty chatbox eventually grew into this massive game that he owns today, I still have screenshots from the early alpha testing where we'd walk around a blank map excited that we were able to support 8-9 players.

None the less, he was enthusiastic to keep me informed as development grew until we eventually grew out of touch due to my own hobbies, but about a year ago I went back and chatted with him on MSN about it - he gave me a tour of the current game and hosted an event for the players with myself as a special guest. The players absolutely freak out at his presence and treat him as if hes some sort of god, which was amusing and bizarre to me since hes just plain boring Aenoud to me :P

Still yet, I won't ever down this game, the guy worked ridiculously hard on it almost completely solo from the ground up, simply because he was a hardcore Dark Ages fan.
