Jak powstało EO - ujawniona tajemnica

For anyone on a little history behind Endless Online

The programmer and creator of Endless Online is an old SGDA/MYDA player named Aenoud, who is also a very oldddd friend of mine. Most of his original staff members are also original players of the games too. I cannot remember what it was called though (There was Temuair, and Oph.. something) -- he mainly played Legends a majority of the time. When some of the players from the much more populated USDA (as it used to be called) and SGDA started to finally migrate to our small 90-150 player community, a few of the more clever ones brought along packeting techniques with them. The staff behind MYDA was extremely negligent and incompetent, and made absolutely zero attempt to stop any of the abuse (such as packeting 20 assails for example, leveling new characters to 99 by spamming religion masses, etc)

The abuse started was a slow flame that ignited, and led to the creation of a program (originating from SGDA) that allowed packets to be sent via hotkeys for instantaneous features, such as infinite Glioca Dion. The game was obviously and immediately ruined, and the server became extremely unstable to the point it became unplayable.

Aenoud was so in love with the game, he began work on an extremely alpha version of what is "Endless Online" today, it simply featured the world's nurrztiest combat system, and you chose a static image of an aisling wearing random armor that you clicked around on a map that was a screenshot of an empty Dark Ages map. That small nurrzty chatbox eventually grew into this massive game that he owns today, I still have screenshots from the early alpha testing where we'd walk around a blank map excited that we were able to support 8-9 players.

None the less, he was enthusiastic to keep me informed as development grew until we eventually grew out of touch due to my own hobbies, but about a year ago I went back and chatted with him on MSN about it - he gave me a tour of the current game and hosted an event for the players with myself as a special guest. The players absolutely freak out at his presence and treat him as if hes some sort of god, which was amusing and bizarre to me since hes just plain boring Aenoud to me :P

Still yet, I won't ever down this game, the guy worked ridiculously hard on it almost completely solo from the ground up, simply because he was a hardcore Dark Ages fan.
